How should I store XYREM?
Store XYREM in its original container. You can store XYREM at room temperature. You do not need to refrigerate XYREM.
Keep XYREM in a secure place. Keep XYREM out of reach of children and pets. If you or someone accidentally swallows or takes your XYREM call 911 and the Poison Control Center.
How do I dispose of XYREM?
When you can no longer draw medication out of the XYREM bottle, pour any unused XYREM down the drain, scribble on the label with a marker, and then put the empty bottle in the trash. This will help protect against illegal use.
What do I do if my XYREM is lost or stolen?
If your XYREM is lost or stolen, report it right away to the police. Also report it to SDS Pharmacy.
What if I lose my XYREM liquid measuring syringe?
If you misplace or lose your XYREM liquid measuring syringe, contact the XYREM Success Program to have it replaced. Do not use a different syringe or try to guess at the correct dose.

The XYREM Patient Connection program provides an opportunity for you to talk one-on-one with a mentor who has been diagnosed with excessive daytime sleepiness and/or cataplexy with narcolepsy, and has been treated with XYREM.
