XYREM Patient & Caregiver Mentor Connections

Sometimes talking to or hearing from someone who has had similar experiences can be incredibly helpful. XYREM'S Patient & Caregiver Mentor Connections gives you the opportunity to speak with someone who understands XYREM treatment and has lived with the symptoms of narcolepsy: excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) and cataplexy.

The program gives you a chance to be in contact with XYREM patients or caregivers in order to learn more about living with 2 common symptoms of narcolepsy — EDS and cataplexy — and treatment with XYREM from someone with firsthand experience. These individuals, called XYREM Mentors, are available to speak one-on-one with adult patients or caregivers by phone.

Mentors live across the country, so depending on their location and schedule, it may take a couple of days to arrange your call. As soon as you are matched with a Mentor, you will receive an email or phone call that will tell you when your conversation will take place.

Before your call, you’ll receive a reminder email, and afterwards, you’ll receive a short email survey to find out how it went. You can have up to 3 calls with the Mentor.

Please be aware that your identity is confidential, but the Mentor is obligated to report any adverse events (side effects of XYREM) that you may mention during the call. The Jazz Pharmaceuticals Drug Safety Department may follow up with you to get the specific information.

The Mentor will only speak from personal experience and will refer you back to your physician or other resources for additional information. Important Safety Information will also be reviewed during your call.
